Hi, I’m Iván Valdivia. Photography is more than a passion for me; it’s how I connect with the world and tell stories that matter. I was born in Cuba and now call Miami home. My path began with a degree in Biology, followed by several years working as a media producer at the San Antonio de los Baños International Film and TV School. In 2012, I moved to the UK to study wildlife documentary production, and that’s where I discovered my true calling behind the camera.

Since then, photography has been a constant pursuit, taking me to places I never expected and reshaping how I see life. Whether I’m in the field with my Canon, traveling, or simply spending time in nature, I’m most at ease when I’m framing the world through a lens. Today, alongside my photography work, I offer photography and field instruction for those committed to building their own nature portfolios and learning how to confidently operate their cameras in real world conditions, across a wide range of environments and scenarios.
